This is Carter on his first birthday. We were in Sun Valley, ID and Allie made him a chocolate cake using coconut oil. It looked gross but it tasted delicious!

Happy Birthday Olivia
Olivia Grace turned five and got her own Marie-Grace. I love that American Girl has a doll with brown hair, blue eyes, whose father is a doctor, and they named her my middle name combined with Olivia's!
I couldn't bare the thought of having Austin's party indoors but a party full on girls with only one boy. . . piece of cake!
Olivia choose to have a cheese cake for her party instead of a traditional cake.
One day this spring, the blossoms were blowing off a tree so hard it looked like it was snowing. What a magical spring moment!
Happy Birthday Papa Rob!
This has been a busy Spring! Pierce is now potty trained! Three down, one to go.
Olivia has now mastered riding a bike with no training wheels. I found the best way to teach a kid to ride a bike is to hang on to the top of their shirt. That way you can hold the kid upright but you allow them to balance the bike by themselves.
If you look closely at this picture, you can see that Olivia is experiencing a problem common to women. Unlike men, sometimes we like to wear stretchy pants. The problem is that stretchy-pants don't have pockets. So what do you do with your fake cellphone when you have no pockets? Olivia's solution: you simply stick the phone down your pants. Super funny!
I love this picture because it aptly shows my reality. We love Duplos! They provide hours (okay almost a whole hour) of fun. It is a neat thing for the kids to do while I nurse Carter. I nurse all my kids for around 13-15 months so this has been a big part of this year.
